| 19.06 Method of Excavation
All openings cut in concrete pavement shall be sawed to a depth of two (2) inches before breaking out such pavement. No more than one-half the width of the street shall be opened up. All openings and excavations shall be made as to cause the least obstruction to the street or alley, so as not to interfere with the passage of water along the gutters, and shall remain open no longer than necessary to make connection or complete the work.
