Navy Reserve Site Development Public Input Meeting
Wednesday, April 6th, 2016 at 6:00 PM
Central High School, Room 234, 1801 Losey Blvd. La Crosse, WI 54601
The City contracted Ross Chapin in 2014 to create a concept plan for a cluster of small homes gathered around a shared open space. In March 2016, the Housing Rehabilitation Committee selected the proposal from Shelter Development and Spies Construction among four others to develop site. This proposal was the most consistent with the concept plan with a few variations that included housing for veterans and indoor and outdoor garden space. The City is in the process of negotiating the terms of the sale with the hopes that the developer will be able to begin this summer.
