6/27/2018 - Water Quality Report for 2017
The Water Quality Reports for calendar year 2017 were completed and mailed to City of La Crosse water consumers on June 26, 2018.  These annual reports are required by the U.S. EPA, and provide information to inform water consumers of how the water they’re drinking compares with federal standards for water quality.

The Water Quality Report generally describes the water supply system and provides detailed information on what has been detected in the water.  The report includes a Water Supply Data Table that summarizes current results of water quality testing.  The Table compares water quality in La Crosse with applicable maximum contaminant levels (MCLs) established by the U.S. EPA.

In 2017, the Water Utility had no violations of maximum contaminant levels or other water quality standards.  The EPA has determined that water in La Crosse is safe at the contaminant levels detected.

City residents and water consumers are encouraged to review the information contained in the 2017 Water Quality Report. Additional printed copies of the Report will be available at the La Crosse Utilities Office, the three La Crosse Public Libraries and the County Health Department.  The Report will also be posted on the Water Utility page of the City’s web site at www.cityoflacrosse.org/water-quality-report. If you have any questions, you can call the La Crosse Utilities Office at (608) 789-7536.
