Soldiers Walk Veterans Memorial Park is a beautiful 54 acre park and a unique tribute to veterans of all wars and conflicts. It is the largest park memorial in the U.S., outside of Washington D.C. Stroll along the Avenue of Heroes, which is handicap accessible, to witness exceptional memorial statues of the fighting men and women who paid the supreme sacrifice for the freedom enjoyed today. After touring the walk, lunch is on your own at the Ashely Pub. After lunch, visit a winery for a tasting and end the excursion with a visit to an orchard to shop for apples and treats.
Return to La Crosse at approximately 4:30pm. Please note there is a lot of walking on this trip at the park and multiple stops.
