Joni Welda, Minnesota Master Naturalist, and staff at the Upper Mississippi River Fish and Wildlife Refuge, will be giving a program at the overlook in Brownsville, MN. She will give a brief history of the refuge. Learn why the area is so important to migrant birds and how to improve your identification skills of migrant birds to the area using your eyes and ears along with simple technology. See the Tundra Swans as they journey from the Arctic South. Please dress appropriately for the weather - it might be colder on the overlook than in La Crosse.
Return to La Crosse around 12:00pm.
