Join the trip to the National Brewery Museum™ showcasing a collection of beer bottles, cans, advertising materials, and other items relating to breweriana collectibles. Lunch will be on your own at Millie’s Diner in Dickeyville and then enjoy the Dickeyville Grotto & Shrines located on the grounds of the Holy Ghost Parish. The works of Father Matthias Wernerus, a German American priest, the main Grotto is an artificial cave created out of stone, mortar, and brightly colored materials and found objects collected from all over the world. In addition to the main Grotto, there are several other religious and patriotic shrines throughout the garden area surrounding the Holy Ghost Church. There is a suggested donation of $5.00 at the Grotto which is not included in the cost. Return to La Crosse at approximately 5:30pm.
