The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is more than 1,200 acres of gardens and tree collections, prairies and woods, and miles of trails. It was crowned “Best Botanical Garden” in 2017 in U.S. Today’s Reader’s Choice Contest. Lunch is on your own at the Arboretum cafeteria. In the afternoon, board a tram for a tour of the Arboretum, which is included in the price along with a discount for the gift shop, which can be explored on your own. On the way home stop at Gerten’s Garden Center, the largest garden center in Minnesota and you will have an opportunity to shop for plants. Return to La Crosse at approximately 8:00pm.
