Mississippi Melodies: Sweetgrass

Sweetgrass is a group that features Diane Brose, bass ukulele and vocals; Dave Simpkinson, guitar, ukulele and vocals; Deb Boehde, tenor ukulele, mandolin, and vocals; and Melissa de Boer, percussion and vocals. They like to perform songs from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and some more recent songs. Their goal in entertainment is to give the audience an opportunity to reminisce, sing along if the spirit so moves them, and to give them an opportunity to enjoy the universal pleasure that music brings to the soul.
