Our first stop will be Rooted in Red, a charming, family owned, fifth generation cranberry farm for a tour of the farm hearing the history and the harvest process. After lunch, is a history tour of Wisconsin Rapids with an on-board guide before heading to the Wisconsin State Fire & EMS Memorial in Ben Hansen Park. Later, a visit to the 45 Mercantile home of Rubi Reds retail shop in the heart of cranberry country then, in Nekoosa, visit Beaver’s Dime Store- a well-known local store featuring hard to find items and penny candy. Lunch is on your own at Anchor Bar and Grill. Bus pickup: SSNC @ 7:30am; Sam’s Club @ 7:45am; Return to La Crosse at approximately 6:30pm
