Please refer to the Legislative Information Center for an accurate meeting schedule, as well as the meeting agendas and minutes. Meetings staffed by the City are typically the second Monday of every month at 4:30 PM, in City Hall's Eagle Room and via Zoom.
City of La Crosse Announces Winners of Bloomberg Philanthropies Youth Climate Action Fund Grants
The City of La Crosse recently announced 10 winners of the Youth Climate Action Fund (YCAF) microgrants. The microgrants range from $1,000 to $5,000 and are awarded to organizations and groups engaging youth to implement climate action initiatives in La Crosse.

The City of La Crosse is happy to announce the hiring of Leo Strand as Sustainability Coordinator. The position is a 1-year assignment coordinated and administered through WisCorps. Leo will focus on implementing the City’s Climate Action Plan.

City of La Crosse Continues Solar Panel Installations on Buildings, Generating $10+ Million in Savings Over the Next 15 Years
The City of La Crosse has begun the next phase of solar panel installations at municipal facilities. These projects include three solar photovoltaic (PV) arrays installed on the two newest fire stations and the renovated North Hall of the La Crosse Center.

Mayor Reynolds Launches Youth Climate Grant Program
City of La Crosse Mayor Reynolds is excited to launch an open call for new and ambitious climate efforts led by young people aged 15-24. La Crosse is receiving $50,000 from Bloomberg Philanthropies to distribute as microgrants to fund a groundswell of youth-led climate initiatives.

Wisconsin Launches Federal Home Energy Rebates Program Helping to Lower Families’ Utility Bills
As part of President Biden’s Investing in America agenda, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) announced today that Wisconsin has launched its first Home Energy Rebates program, supported by the Inflation Reduction Act. Even more, Wisconsin is the first state in the nation to launch HOMES Program.
