The La Crosse Common Council places great importance on planning for the City’s future; Council members know that it is vitally important to provide future direction that ensures the health and welfare of the citizens as well as the City’s redevelopment and revitalization.

The Common Council has developed the following priorities:

• Develop budget planning to include performance measures and cost savings
• Attract employers, both manufacturing and professional
