The Wagon Wheel Trail project will be connecting City of La Crosse historic Downtown to the City of La Crescent, Minnesota and beyond.

The project will begin at Sportsmen’s Landing in Minnesota, continuing east, and terminating at the underpass of the Cass Street and Cameron Avenue Bridges in Wisconsin. It is proposed to construct a stand-alone pedestrian bridge over the Mississippi River West Channel and widen the existing 6-foot concrete sidewalk to a 10-foot concrete sidewalk along USH 14/61.
