The La Crosse Historic and Cultural Museum Planning Task Force was established to "engage the community to better understand interest and potential support for a La Crosse history and cultural museum, to gather information on programming, exhibits, displays, education and administrative needs, to gather information on possible locations, and to provide recommendations about the planning, timing, funding and partnerships needed to help develop a La Crosse history and cultural museum."
