In the City of La Crosse, Municipal Ordinance requires that bikes ridden within the City limits are licensed and registered.

You can register your bicycle for FREE with the Police Department. To register your bicycle, you will need to have the make, model, and serial number of the bicycle. The license is good as long as you own your bike. 

Registration can be completed in person at the Police Department between the hours of 8:00AM - 4:00PM, Monday through Thursday, or you can complete the online form below and your license will be mailed to you.
